Able Wisdom Services Inc works with many other service providers and state agencies to provide services to those in our community with intellectual disabilities. We receive funding from Home and Community-based Services (HCS), a Medicaid waiver option, Texas Home Living, and We also accept private pay for all eligible services.

Program manager

Wisdom is responsible for creating, communicating, and implementing Able wisdom services’ vision, mission, and overall direction. He’s responsible for the oversight of the entire program and services team. He’s accountable for all the residents, clients and staff and the actual day to day operations of our homes and Program for community outreach.

JUDITH ANYAGWA

Case manager

Judith is responsible for ensuring the continuity of services and supports through the implementation of service planning and coordination meetings as well as ensuring compliance with state guidelines to adhere to Medicaid, Probate and Social Security requirements for all persons receiving Home and Community-Based Medicaid waiver services. Judith, assures all programs and services including assisted living, HCS and TxHML are in compliance with all regulations. She is also responsible for all staff training and maintains our commitment

About Us

Able Wisdom Services Inc Specializes in serving adults (men and women) age 18 and over with intellectual disabilities. Applicants should have a primary diagnosis of intellectual disabilities, in the mild to severe range, and should be capable of exercising some self-care skills (dressing, bathing, toileting, etc.) In order to live in our group homes, please contact our office at 214-676-9406.
Able Wisdom Services Inc contracts with specialized therapists such as speech, nursing, occupational, physical, behavioral, and dietary. The cost of services varies depending on program of choice. We accept Home and Community Based Services – a Medicaid waiver option (HCS), Texas Home Living, and private pay.

Supervised living services provides habilitation, supervision and availability of a service provider staff to help

Supported Employment

Provides assistance to sustain paid employment for individuals for whom, because of their disability, require

Dental

Individuals 21 and older:$2,000 per IPC year to address emergency, preventive and therapeutic dental treatment.

Audiology

Provides for a licensed audiologist to perform assessments and direct therapeutic intervention, training and consultation

Day Habilitation

Services provide the opportunity to participate in day habilitation for up to six hours a

Minor Home Modifications

Services are designed to assess the need for, arrange for, and provide modifications and/or improvements

Nursing

Services provided by a licensed nurse include monitoring health, medication administration and monitoring, referrals for

Adaptive Aids

These are necessary medical supplies, devices, controls or appliances that allow individuals to retain or

Behavioral Support

Provides for a licensed psychologist, psychological associate, DADS certified psychologist or a board certified behavioral

Social Work

Assessment and direct therapeutic intervention. Training and consultation with family/provider.

Dietary

Provides for a licensed dietician to perform face-to-face assessment, consultation and staff training. Services include

Speech Therapy

Services are designed for corrective or rehabilitive treatment of individuals with speech or language disorders.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy Services are designed to help individuals with range of motion, improve physical functioning,

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy Services are designed for skilled treatment that will help individuals achieve independent functioning

Supported Home Living

Provides assistance to individuals living in their own or family homes. Services include assistance with

Residential Support

Services provide supervision and assistance from a service provider who is awake during normal sleeping

Respite

Provides short-term services to individuals who cannot care for themselves; furnished because of the absence

Host Home Companion Care

Habilitation services are provided to individuals of all ages in home-like environment as an alternative
